Beautiful little canister for storing any number of things in. I use mine for tea, but just as often I simply pick one of these up and rotate the lid to feel how satisfyingly smooth it feels. Out of all of the pieces that I make, these require the most time and effort.

After fitting each lid to its specific canister, the pieces get fired together with the help of small balls of wadding that space the two pieces away from each other so they do not get permanently fused when the glaze melts. Afterwards, I pop the wadding off of the pot, then I apply a lapping compound and turn the lid against the body of the canister to ensure a nice fit.

➤ As with all my functional pottery, items are food,microwave, and dishwasher safe.

➤ The Canister measures approximately 4 1/2" tall and 3” wide.

➤ The bottoms of each piece are sanded to a nice smooth finish to protect your furniture.
