Keep your butter soft, spreadable and fresh with this unique French butter keep. The airlock created will slow the oxidation process, keeping your butter fresh for up to 30 days. These keeps are designed to generously hold one stick (½ cup, or 4 ounces) of butter.

Butter Keep Directions:

1.       Smash butter inside the keep’s lid.

2.       Pour enough water in the bottom to form a seal when the lid is replaced.

3.       Look forward to perfect toast, grilled cheese, and whatever else you shmear butter on.

Tips:

1.       Change water 1-2 times per week.

2.       Avoid placing the butter keep in direct sunlight, or anywhere where butter might warm up enough to start moving on its own.
